Ok, let's expand a bit.

I grew up in eastern Canada (I am Acadien) but moved to Ottawa for science post graduate studies. I fell in love with the city and stayed. I love science, politics, history, travel, good foods. I'm a geek - besides science, I also have a strong interest in fantasy/science fiction and gaming. Perhaps unsurprisingly, I've also taken medieval sword handling the last year or so. While I'll admit it's of dubious utility (well, until the zombie apocalypse that is), it's a lot of fun!

I believe in personal responsibility and compassion. To me, kindness and intelligence matters far more in people than looks and kinkiness. I like real people, not one dimensional list of fetishes!

Besides Montreal, I've also been active in the Ottawa BDSM scene, which is latex light - this means a lot of people are curious about it! I have been involved since 2000, but only wearing latex at events since 2005. I am discovering the thrill of converting someone to latex. Whether it is opening someone's eyes to the dark magic of kink, or showing a hardened bdsm-er the sensual pleasure of latex, it's very fulfilling. I'm still a "newbie" in some ways, but I love sharing it with new people!

I have been very fortunate in the last few years. I got to go to Europe – Prague and Berlin, notably the German Fetish Ball, where I got to meet old friends (some for the first time) and make new ones. I returned in 2009 for what was a very similar trip, but in a way much more satisfying as I had company this time (read on ;) ). I definitely intend to travel again. I also got to attend the the Fetish weekend in Montreal where I got to meet a lot of wonderful rubberpalers and try a vacuum bed. 2008 was the fourth time for me, and I certainly plan to be there in 2009! Even more interestingly, some of the european rubberpallers I met in Berlin in 2009 will be there too... so YOU should go too! :D

Most importantly though, I have finally met someone for me, who goes by the scene name of Phoenix. Love is worth a thousand parties... and said parties will be even better with her by my side! And for those who are curious, I met her in my sword handling class. It's a good argument to get off the PC and go in the wide world I think ha! This year we are planning of attending the 2009 German Fetish Ball - again for me, a first for her. Should be fun! :D
