RWR'08 Ruled! Yes, I attended my very first fetish event. It was the Rubberdoll World Rendezvous 2008 in Minneapolis, MN. I arrived early by train and stayed for the entire weekend with a couple hours of sleep to spare for me to get back on the train back to Pittsburgh. Bekki (my TGIRL alter ego) wanted to play on Sunday night which is why I got little rest Sunday night/Monday morning.

I got to meet many faces behind the screens, learned more about latex and photography, learned a little more about myself and Bekki (She really loves bondage and photo shoots involving various types of play) and had an awesome time all around. Folks, you can't stay behind your computers and talk fetish. You need to get your asses to one of these events. It's 1000 times more fulfilling and you'll gain many lasting friendships along the way.

The Denber Rubber order is delayed. From time to time I decide to import a lot of latex clothing and toys for myself from Denber Rubber in the UK. What I enjoy doing is making available the opportunity for others in the USA and Canada to join in the order and benefit from the wholesale pricing.

I do it on my own time and don't make any profit from it, short of maybe getting extra points on my Amazon credit card and building up my reputation. I'm sure if I do this often enough I may wind up becoming the de facto source for such gear in the USA. But that means I'd wind up making it into a side business and start charging markup. And I already have a packed life with not much time left over for local dungeon visits (much less an active social life) as is. :(

Due to finding a girlfriend who is into costuming and Bekki slowly waking up from her depression induced by a horrible BDSM session in the Summer, Bekki wanted to improve her body. So She won out and is going to have a fab new look. Since I have the last week of October off for a much-needed vacation from work I'm sure it will be a very interesting final week. Certainly Bekki is anxious to crash a few Halloween parades and wind up with a few photos of her visits in the costumed yet 'nilla world during that time. :) :) :)

About My Glove Size:
Before I forget to mention it, I have small hands. I wear a glove size of around 7 and prefer to wear Small glove sizes in general because I like skintight latex! :) When it gets to thicker or longer latex (shoulder-length latex gloves or latex dishwashing gloves) I prefer a Medium size to minimize the strain on my hands.

As For My Experience With Girlfriends:
Quite possibly the most empty relationships I've ever had were with girlfriends who are in 12-Step "Recovery". The reality is that they're still hopelessly addicted to their vices and refuse to take that moral hit and close that sorry chapter on their lives by never engaging in the behavior that got them into trouble to begin with. In a couple words, to quit. Right now. Once and for all for one LIFETIME at a time.

So instead of wanting to learn the big secret of my success in ending several nasty habits I was simply used as yet another one of their drugs. I was simply used to scratch an itch rather than to feed their minds.

This Rational Recovery webpage helped me immensely to see what was going on and allowed me to liberate myself from addiction. For FREE, no less, without any nonsense from addiction treatment or from recovery groups. It was an eye opener which provided me with the simple wisdom to wake up and regain my own sense of right and wrong. And it was fun! :)

Sadly, my former girlfriends will never know a post-addiction life as long as they remain mired in 12-Step. If they're going to pretend to be disease victims then all I can say is, "Thank goodness I used protection." Do I really want what they have? Uhh, no. ;)

I am a newcomer into the world of latex fetishism and fashion. While I don't have much in gear I do know what I like. I would like to explore my own repressed sensuality with another who shares that kink.

After being exposed to the IAR I decided to come out. I don't feel alone now and I'm not afraid of exploring my fetish further. I would be honored to be a submissive willing to learn and give back accordingly.

My first introduction with my glove fetish was from admiring peoples' hands in white fabric gloves while as a child. It's where I was in the church's bell choir that I became transfixed by those gloved hands. Also, it was the perfect place for me to wear such gloves.

Soon, my fetish developed further in my early teenage years as I bought some latex examination gloves from a local pharmacy. I literally rode my bike from my house to there (about 14 miles round trip). And they were perfect at the time: They were actually non-ambidextrous and form-fitting (a nice small size).

For some reason, my fetish got me into trouble. While exiled for five years within a so-called "partial hospital/partial school" facility (in reality, a very physically and psychologically violent offshoot of a Synanon cult indoctrination center), when I was sixteen the teacher searched through my belongings and literally outed me in class. I never felt so low and I only wish it were a dream. And that's conducive to mental health?

Eventually, feeling totally demoralized I put my fetish on the back burner and, sadly, turned to alcohol to numb the pain for awhile. I never felt so isolated and dejected in my life.

Anyhow, I never did have a high school sweetheart and I never could bring myself to open up. I was, from that time until quite a few years ago, a lost soul.

It was only when I quit drinking that I realized that my alcohol use prolonged that pain. And, for once, I came to grips with who I was and wanted to be: A man who wants a more fulfilling life. A man that needs to learn how to live.

So, I used to drink and I also used to smoke. Drinking and smoking aren't my cup of tea anymore so I drink either water or iced homebrewed green tea. Cigarettes make me smell icky and alcohol makes me into someone devoid of morals.

There are other things which provide me with more pleasure: I enjoy writing and expressing myself via the written word. Since I was so embarrassed by that asshole teacher as a teen I became somewhat agoraphobic.

Ultimately, I have to be myself, warts and all. And that especially means embracing my fetish and sharing that with my girlfriend whom I adore and love. I can communicate. I just needed to let go and take that risk of going outside and actually meeting people.

I'm certainly not getting any younger. It's time to explore life and a new sensuality.

Other interests: I moonlight as a drug/alcohol counselor (the truth is that 12-Step doesn't work in terms of solving the problem of substance addiction but makes it much worse, in God's name, no less), enjoy making websites (which explains the HTML in use on my profile), various anti-censorship and civil liberties activism, OpenOffice.org evangelism (so why don't you download and get this cutting-edge office package which is much better than MS-Office...and FREE to use and give away to your friends, colleagues, loved ones, etc.), digital photography and short-form film making, personally digitally-remastering old audio CD's into FLAC format and walking while listening to the MP3-downsampled results (through the Lame MP3 codec for high-quality MP3 conversions at 128kbps) on my oldskool Sansa MP3 player afterwards.
