I'm active in the Irish kink scene since 2004 and, with m'lady, have co-organised many kink workshops in Dublin over the last two years. Our biggest event was in July 2009, when we brought Dossie Easton to Dublin for a Tantra BDSM weekend workshop. We've been really lucky not only to meet fantastic international facilitators but to have developed many webs of friendships in the Irish kink world. We were part of the New Wave of Irish Kink that began with Nimhneach opening in 2005. It's a far more confident public scene now, attracting more and more folk eager to explore. The answer, my friends, is blowing in the wind. And perhaps into an inflatable hood.
Personally, I'm in what some people call the "creative industry"; currently studying - upskilling - back in film/TV and also practicing my Oscar speech. Although I love film I gotta say the developments in digital HD media is fairly radical. I'm hooked.
